The General English Courses have a strong emphasis on conversation although the competencies of reading, writing and listening are also practiced. The curriculum for all courses is well-planned and the emphasis is on making the classes as interesting as possible while improving your level of English as rapidly as possible.

The main focus of our General English courses is on helping you improve your communication skills. These courses have a particular emphasis on speaking, although you will also develop your reading, writing and listening at the same time.

Each session is based on a topic. Students are grouped according to their level and they together discuss a set of questions or pictures provided by the teacher.

Our General English Course focuses on improving your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in interactive, creative and challenging classes based on real-life situations. We supplement the core curriculum with a variety of authentic materials such as newspapers, web pages, magazines, extracts from literature and a range of other teaching materials.

The Standard Course is available to adults (18 +), teenagers (13-17) and to small children (3-12) Each course is designed specifically to suit the required age group. All courses cover the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with a specific emphasis on improving oral communication.

The General English Afternoon course runs from Monday to Friday, from 1.50pm am to 5pm.

General English courses provide students with a fun and dynamic way to improve their English. ULearn's classes are suitable for students of all levels - from Beginner all the way up to Advanced learners.

Evening classes are both General and exam English. Each student is given a book in the class which provides a grammar framework.

Saturday classes are for students who are busy during the week and want to improve their English language skills. Covering an aspect of grammar and a speaking task each weeks, students can quickly improve their speaking, writing and listening skills.
