Saint Julian's, known to locals as San Giljan, is a town in Malta that sits along the coast and is located north of the capital city of Valleta. Saint Julian's is best known for its many tourists (especially in the summer months) and its excellent nightlife, most of which is centered in the area of Paceville. The town is named after the Patron Saint Julian, and every year on the last Sunday in August, the city holds a feast in his name. These "festas" are common practice in the summer months of Malta. If you plan to study English courses in Malta you'll have lots of time to explore the city after classes are through: most evenings in Malta don't start until very late, and the clubs and pubs of Paceville stay open until the early morning. When you have extra time to relax, you may want to travel to nearby resorts or take a stroll through the city and along the coast. No matter where you study when at an English school in Malta, this gorgeous Mediterranean country will leave you refreshed and speaking English as if you were a native.
