Malta is an island just south of Italy that enjoys sunshine and warm weather almost year round. It is a popular area for water-sport enthusiasts, who come to enjoy great scuba-diving, water skiing, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, and swimming. Not only is Malta a beautiful paradise, but it is filled with centuries worth of history, including several of the oldest surviving man-made structures in the world. Valletta, a harbor city, is also the capital of Malta and preserves much of its 16th century architectural heritage. It is home to the ornate St. John’s Co-Cathedral as well as The Palace of the Grandmasters. Medina, another city worth a day-trip in Malta, is home to many great galleries and museums. During the summer, the island is ripe with festivals, bonfires, barbeques and fireworks. By studying English courses in Malta, you're essentially signing up to take language classes in paradise.
