If you plan to study English courses in New York City, you'll quickly see why it’s called the the "City that Never Sleeps". New York City is the largest city by population in the United States and has everything you can imagine within the island of Manhattan and the surrounding Burroughs. Whether you spend your time outside of class shopping on Fifth Avenue, going to Broadway shows, watching the hustle and bustle of Times Square, or enjoying the masterpieces at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, students at an English school in New York City can discover something that appeals to them. You'll certainly want to sample the foods in New York's cultural areas of Little Italy and Chinatown during your stay, and after you sample a meal or two you can take a walk in Central Park, which spans over 50 blocks in length and is one of the most famous city parks in the world. You'll also be amazed to see New York come alive (and stay alive) once the sun sets-- with a 24 hour subway system and restaurants and bars that stay open until the sun rises, even the most avid night owl should be amazed by New York's nightlife.
