Intensive Spanish courses in Costa Rica

This course is designed for Spanish learners looking for an intensive language-learning opportunity that maximizes language exposure and classroom time. This program puts you in class 6 hours per day, 4 hours in small group classes and 2 hours in private lessons.

Just like the Standard Spanish course, our Intensive Spanish course is based on the internationally recognized CEFR framework for learning, teaching and assessment which is also the basis of DELE-Diplomas (Spanish as a Second Language). The levels are Basic User (A1, A2), Independent User (B1, B2) and Proficient User (C1, C2).

A great option for those students that are looking to make the most out of their language learning experience. It includes our basic Intensive course with 20 group lessons per week, plus 10 private lessons that can be used for going over the topics learned in the group course, to do more one-on-one practice, cover special topics you are interested in (be it cultural, Latin American history or language for specific purposes, etc.

A course suited for all levels, for students with very specific needs or for those who want to study at their own pace, either fast or slow! The course includes everything included in all our courses: course certificate, activity program, level testing, etc.

The Intensive course is for students who want to maximize their language learning practice during their stay. The courses focus heavily on speaking and communication skills: the morning consists of 4 lessons in communication skills, while the afternoon consists of 2 lessons in special topics.

If you're interested in maximizing your time abroad in Latin America, this program is a great option. In most destinations, we complement the Intensive Group Course with 2 additional one-on-one lessons per day.

Monday to Friday the students in this program will receive 4 lessons in the morning before lunch and 2 lessons after lunch. This intensive option is the best for students in short-term stays .

This individual course is ideal for students looking to get the most of their time. The teacher will focus on the student's need every day and tailor made material can be created upon request Intensive oral practice is the key to achieving conversational proficiency.

Epifania Spanish School offers 2 different regular Spanish programs per day (4 hours or 6 hours per day). Class sizes are small, usually two to four Spanish students and never more than six per qualified Spanish teacher.

A Home Language International immersion course means you live the language you are learning and is the fastest, most natural way to learn. You are staying in your teacher’s home, have one-to-one language lessons and continue to use and practise your language skills sharing the daily life of your teacher’s family during meals, conversations, visits and activities as they all take place in the language you are studying.
