Our Intensive (30 lesson) and General (20 lesson) English courses help students improve all their skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and learn the grammar, vocabulary and cultural knowledge necessary for living in the UK and using English in an international context. We focus on practical, effective and natural communication and you will get at least five pieces of new language in each 45-minute class.

General English covers all skills and are well balanced between, speaking, reading, writing, listening, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. This course includes Communication Skills, which gives you the opportunity to practise your speaking and listening, which will build your confidence in English.

A Home Language International immersion course means you live the language you are learning and is the fastest, most natural way to learn. You are staying in your teacher’s home, have one-to-one language lessons and continue to use and practise your language skills sharing the daily life of your teacher’s family during meals, conversations, visits and activities as they all take place in the language you are studying.

Fees include tuition (30 hours in Bristol - (age 13-17), 20 hours (age 7-12), 40 hours (Get ready for Medicine), accredited Be a leader programme, teaching materials, accommodation, food, laundry, insurance, airport transfers*, activities and trips. *The transfer service only offered every two weeks (9th, 23rd of July and 6th and 20th August).
