Vida Verde is located in the heart of the La Floresta neighborhood of Quito, one of the most popular areas in the city. It is a tranquil, residential neighborhood full of culture, parks, and great restaurants. The school´s excellent location means that you will be located near plenty of major attractions in Quito without being overwhelmed by the typical tourism of the city. The school is a 15 minute walk from the Plaza Foch and a traditional artesinal market, a 15 minute drive from the Historical Center and just a few minutes from the outskirts of the city.
Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying Spanish in Quito. These homes are often between 1 - 10 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.
