Welcome to TANDEM Munich – an international language school with over 30 years experience in offering high-quality German language courses in Munich.

The school places great importance on creating a friendly and relaxed learning environment. At TANDEM Munich we’re convinced that learning can only be successful if it’s also fun!

Our team of teachers is committed to achieving results for each student at their individual level. Group work and close supervision of all course members are very important while personal interests and wishes of students always come first. Classes are small, interactive, motivating and cheerful, students are continuously encouraged to speak German.

TANDEM is an exceptionally well-organized school. From the moment I entered until the day I left, everything was top-notch. The classes are meticulously structured, providing all the necessary tools for effective language practice. The teachers are not only experts in German but also proficient in other foreign languages, which greatly benefited both me and my fellow students. Located right in the heart of Munich, TANDEM offers the perfect setting for immersive learning. They also organize extracurricular activities that further enhance the language learning experience. I liked all the experience, the host family very nice and friendly, the location of the apartment was close to the school and in the historic center of the city, the school Tandem is very professional well organized and good teachers, and I really enjoyed all the experience, Munich is also a great City.

Students live with Germans, sometimes families, sometimes flat sharers, very often single people who have a spare room. You have your own room and share kitchen and bathroom with them. Students cater for themselves, either by contributing to the budget or by shopping for themselves.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 100 € when you register.
