Our story starts in 1976 when the Calanova National Sailing School was inaugurated by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, Juan Carlos, and Sofía.
Blending years of experience with state-of-the-art facilities, Calanova is the perfect place to enjoy a nautical experience, where the needs and demands of the thousands of our international visitors coming every year do not go unheard.
Calanova offers different Summer Camps with all kind of watersports activities located in the unique Bay of Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Our staff and top-notch instructors guarantee a great experience for the Summer where all students from different nationalities share great moments with all the activities that we offer in our programs.

The programme takes place in the National Sailing School of Calanova, an astonishing location on the seafront. The complex has Reina Sofia residence, with all rooms facing the sea. It is located in the Port of Calanova, only 15 minutes from the centre of Palma. Being the best Water Sports’ school in Spain, it is used each summer by the Royal Spanish Family.

Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 10 - 15. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about student residence accommodation
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.
