All Leeds bus routes are very close and our school is less than a 10-minute walk from Leeds main train station.
Leeds - Bradford international airport is around 25 minutes by taxi from our school.
The school is in a very good location, the teaching is at a high level, the activities are very different and interesting
I liked school very much and there are no mistakes
I liked the teachers and all the people, especially Angel was very nice. The facility was good, not too far from the bus station. But the classes, i felt like ithey were too long, because iam not used to it and it was kind of hard to stay focused during the full class.
The activities were great, but did not like the museums, we went to some industrial museum, which was really boring to me.
I lived at my moms friend house, so it is not part of the school housing.
But my biggest concern is that i felt like the classes were usually too easy for me, i think that iam better level, because my classmates were sometimes a lot worse than me at english and that i never knew what activity are we having untill i asked, because they gave me the wrong timetable 3 times. But i made new friends and enjoyed ut really well. Thank you for this oportunity.
It was a pleasure for me to study at CES. I enjoyed the quality of teaching and the différents activities during social programs.
Moreover, CES is close of the train station of Leeds.
There are many foreign students. That allows everyone to make a lot of effort to speak in English.
It was nice, activities were good although almost every time we finished very late. Teachers were good but some of them were slow and because of that classes with them were boring. Leaders of afternoon activities were funny and open. Pretty good classrooms but some of them were a bit small and a school for juniors were a little far away from the main school.

At the beginning, the course was totally easy and organized on the way of the level examining and the arrangement of classes timing. When I where looking to join an Ielts course in Leeds, I had multiple of choices, but the location, time flexibility, variety of course choices & proficiently forced me to join your course without any doubts. I had plenty of hope to become totally ready for my IELTS test on a month after my course ends, but the unfortunate was that i was surprised that the Ielts course that I took on the CES center was an basic English course than what an Ielts course should be..
The course was all week morning English sessions that are based of random topics and genres are taught, while three days only of the full week are chosen to cover the Ielts course on the afternoon. Based on a student that had a full hope to achieve full capability to become no less than ready for his Ielts test, was only a feeling that are in a worry. The Ielts course was more into basic English than what Ielts preparation course should have been.
I was within the advanced course on the Ielts course, but suddenly I noticed that even though I were on a high level on my course ( Advanced ), I was put in a Level 2 Ielts course, which doesn’t make any sense why a student in advance should be kept in a low Ielts level..!
Once again, Thank you for everything.
And that was only an honest review on my experience with CES
Thanks a lot for your excellent team! It was great experience and I had improved my knowledge in English language.
The teacher do a great job!
Regarding the teachers, location, activities, and facilities, I would give a very positive answer. For sure I had a wonderful experience in Leeds that I would not mention more here. However, I would like to propose two personal suggestions: First, as we know, Italian and Spanish students compose the majority of our school usually, which means it has more chance we have several Italian and Spanish students at the same class. In most of cases, I suppose it might not a good way for improving their language skills. Therefore, on their behalf, I wonder if our school could take up some measures or find some solutions to help them, trying your best to mix students with different cultural background into one class, could be one way. Secondly, I saw most of the students, who didn't manage their free time appropriately to study, just busy with activities and pubs. On their behalf, I hope our school could set a prize for the winner of that test held every two weeks, which might encourage them to put more efforts on their study, to make use of the facilities like the computer room.
All my suggestions above is hoping to help those who really want to improve their English ability.
Lastly my big thanks to all the staff.
It was good overall, but one bad thing was that every teacher had his or her own way of teaching, which made it very confusing, and some of them were boring.

I began in a class with only an Arabic speaker, and sometimes it was not good for me because the class always spoke in Arabic, but it was good to learn more about their country and their culture. After I changed and my class was more multi-lingual, it became more interesting because we talked only in English.
The teachers were good, except a few who were too by the book, with exercises but no exchange.
I can't say much for housing, because I rented a house on my own and didn't do the activities because I was there with my family.
My classmates are fantastic, and also my teachers!
The principal is very gentle!
The location , now it is changed, was a little bit small, with few windows.
Now it is in a new location. Very beautiful! I visited it last April.
The activities are fun: films, bowling, karaoke, and visits to art galleries, museums, and trips.
The trips generally are to Scarabought. I suggest that the School organize a trip to Knaresbough!
I highly recommend it!
It was a little school, however I think is better to meet people and share experiences with people from many different countries. I liked so much the housing within learning English because the family talks with you and shares their British culture.

If the students wants a course for 2 to 4 hours per week, then this would be 1:1 classes. Our 10 lessons per week course is set hours of 2pm until 4.30pm Tuesday to Thursday each week.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept any students who are under 16 years old I'm afraid. After the student turns 16, she will then be able to join us and chose a new start date.
