Strongly influenced by the Soviet Union and now the European Union, this country has a character unto its own. Attend Russian school in Belarus and add your own influence. Encircling the banks of the Svislach and Niamiha rivers is the capital city of Minsk. Clean and cosmopolitan, Belarus' largest city offers a plethora of cafes and nightlife options. Meander the charming Old Town, known as Traetskae Prodmestse, and gaze at extravagant Stalinist architecture built after the city was reduced to rubble during the Second World War. Walk amongst tree-lined streets and wooden houses in Brest, the busy border town near Poland. See the remnants of the historical Brest Fortress, the real treasure here. Vitsebsk is intriguing for art history connoisseurs. Visit the Marc Chagall House Museum, located in his childhood home, or ponder the wondrous paintings, lithographs, and photographs in the Chagall, Art and Regional Museums. Outside the cities, visit the intriguing castles of the Mirsky Castle Complex and Nesvizh Castle, both World Heritage Sites. Search for the endangered wisent, a European bison and Europe's largest mammal, in the Belavezhskaya Pushcha National Park. Hikers and bikers can enjoy the trails of this primeval forest too. Cruise the rivers of Pripyatsky National Park, a vast area of marshes and swampland, for excellent bird-watching opportunities. In winter, this frozen landscape is prime for ice fishing and is best followed up with a trip to the local sauna. Take Russian courses in Belarus and discover this intriguing land.
Our educational centre also offers the individual tuition at convenient time. When you learn Russian individually the advantages are obvious:
- the teacher is focused on your personal needs
- our teachers use other languages while teaching beginners (English, French, Turkish, Arabic); upper levels are taught only in Russian;
- optional level of intensity;
- flexible schedule (including weekends).
