More about studying in USA »
If you plan to study English courses in USA you'll have plenty of choices to make as to where you'd like to explore. From the northeastern portion of the country, where the autumn is filled with some of the most beautiful scenery you can imagine and the winters are snow filled and chilly, to the islands of Hawaii where temperatures never drop lower than "T-shirt" weather-- there is a wide variety of culture and climate to enjoy while visiting the USA. The two most populated areas are on the east and west coastlines, however these two areas couldn't be any more different. While east-coasters tend to live a very fast-faced, high stress, fast talking, high reward lifestyle, west-coasters tend to take a more relaxed approach to life and "just enjoy everything". There's also plenty of adventure to be had in the South and the "Heartlands" of the central US, where you might run into your first typical "cowboy" and enjoy some spicy down-home cooking as well.

Which course type is right for me?
Intensive Study: For adults who want to learn a language as quickly as possible for academic or professional reasons.
Test Preparation: For students who want to prepare for language proficiency tests.
Business: For business executives who want to study a language to be able to do business.
Junior: For children ages 8 to 12 and teenagers ages 13 to 18 who want to study a language in the summer.
How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
