Taunton is the county town of Somerset, in the southwestern portion of England. This traditional English market town has many historic site as well as modern amenities, making it the perfect blend of old and new. The Taunton Heritage Trail starts at the Taunton Tourist Information Centre, a great place for visitors to stop and ask questions at any time during their stay. Make sure to visit the Taunton Castle, home to the Somerset County Museum to learn more about the area. Vivary Park is another great way for students to get a feel for the town of Taunton. With its beautiful gardens, picnic and play areas, model boat pond, tennis courts and more, the park is a hub of activity for locals and visitors alike. While in town, be sure to take advantage of the Farmer’s Market to get some great locally grown produce and other products. Taunton also hosts a weekly antique market, allowing patrons a chance to shop for unique treasures. Sports fans might enjoy watching the local cricket club compete. We are now offering an intensive English course with 27 hours of English classes per week, including 12 hours of extra tuition in the afternoons, tailored to meet the requirements of each individual student. Specialised sessions can be requested for advanced English and IELTS preparation.
Street (12-17 years) & Glastonbury (6-11 years) All students have a fixed timetable that will include 15 hours of English tuition per week in small classes in the mornings and then one class in the afternoon, followed by either extra English tuition (Street Campus only), a sport or specialist activity of their choice or our extensive sport and recreation programme.

You will take our online placement test before you arrive and will be placed into the correct level for you, Our teachers will prepare a course designed specially for your class and English level using topics and materials relevant to your age group.
Coupled with our stellar English language tuition, our students will receive expert guidance in computer coding. Sessions will be taught in Python, a programming language used worldwide by tech giants such as Google, NASA, and YouTube in critical applications within their businesses.
Samiad’s popular Performing Arts Specialism will be available to students attending Wells Cathedral School in summer 2023. Combined with 15 hours of structured English language tuition, the Performing Arts course gives our students a new and interactive way to hone their English skills and become the stars they were born to be!
A qualified performing arts teacher will run sessions on dramatic technique, improvisation, stage settings, and other theatrical elements.
Our budding young golfers will enjoy professional high-quality tuition from Club Pros at a stunning 18-hole golf course. The club boasts a 190- yard warm up area, practice bunker, putting green and chipping range.
