Vacation Japanese courses

Lexis Japan's Intensive Japanese program is fast-paced and communicative in nature. It is designed to equip students with all the skills necessary to live and work in Japan.

The Short Term General Japanese Course is for all level of students who wish to study Japanese and experience Japanese life on holidays. ISI Tokyo, Ikebukuro, have a wide array of classes, from beginner to advance, so you will find the most suitable class for you.

Students take 15 hours of small group classes in one week. Classes have a maximum of 8 students, and the small size and friendly atmosphere helps students to progress quickly in skill and confidence.

Overall goal of 1st year is to learn read and write simple Japanese. Furthermore practice Japanese properly from basic such as Japanese essay writing and so on.

In addition to 15 Japanese lessons a week, the course also comes with 4 lessons of socio-cultural activities (13:30-15:20 Tuesday and Thursday) each week to help you practice your language skills and learn cultural nuance. A Home Language International immersion course means you live the language you are learning and is the fastest, most natural way to learn. You are staying in your teacher’s home, have one-to-one language lessons and continue to use and practise your language skills sharing the daily life of your teacher’s family during meals, conversations, visits and activities as they all take place in the language you are studying.

The Japanese long-term course is for students who wish to study at a higher institution in Japan or for those who want to use it for Japanese business. The ISI curriculum is designed with the main focus on communication skills.
