Japanese courses for beginners in Aichi are for students who have never studied Japanese. This course is ideal for students who know very little to no Japanese. It is for students who only know a few Japanese words, such as 'hello', 'thank you', and 'goodbye'.

Students take 15 hours of small group classes in one week. Classes have a maximum of 8 students, and the small size and friendly atmosphere helps students to progress quickly in skill and confidence.
Studying Japanese, experiencing Japanese culture such as tea ceremony and Japanese sweets making, activities such as rafting and canoeing… This summer, Nagoya JaLS has prepared a special summer course for students studying Japanese in Japan, which offers many experiences. Spend this summer in Nagoya, a city full of festivals such as the Nippon Domannaka Festival (one of the three major Yosakoi festivals in Japan), the Nagoya Castle Festival and the Hisaya Odori dance festival.
Autumn in Nagoya is the best season to enjoy the calm and beautiful scenery. Nagoya’s meals are made with local ingredients, the streets are tinted with autumn leaves, and autumn events such as the Nagoya Festival are held.
