Classes are held everyday from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 10:30 am and from 11:00 to 12:30 am,
4 lessons of 45 minutes each a day, with one teacher.
The courses begin every month and last 4 weeks - 80 lessons for 60 hours.
Individual tuition is recommended for those students who have special interests or needs or who are looking for a way to reconcile objectives and available time.
Length of lesson-hour: 50 minutes.
For students over 50 who want to study Italian and learn more about Italian and Florentine culture, the ABC School offers 1 or 2 week-programs.

The Standard Course represents the base of almost all the study courses.

In the Plus lessons students can deepen some aspect of Italian language, or just speak Italian with their teacher.
This course is suited for every people who wish to learn Italian or improve their knowledge.
Each day consists of one new lesson, based on the communicative approach, in the morning group language course, and one activity per week in the afternoon.
Course structure
This course is aimed at those who, for professional reasons, for personal interest, or because of time constraints, prefer to follow an individual course, tailored to their requirements. It is possible to choose to concentrate on the grammatical structure of the language, on conversation, or on specific vocabulary.
For students over 50 who want to study Italian and learn more about Italian and also, more specifically, the Ligurian culture, the ABC School offers programmes of 1 week or more.

This course is for those who due to time restraints or professional, study or other particular interests would prefer to attend an individual course which is custom made to suit their needs.

The combined course consist of 20 lessons/wk in a group + 6 lessons/wk individual
Recommended for those students who want to both learn general Italian and concentrate on certain more specific personal language needs.

How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
