Intermediate Italian courses

Italian language tuition in the morning combined with cooking courses, olive oil tasting, wine tastings and guided visits in the wine area surrounding Lucca. Morning: 4 hours of language tuition in group, from 9:15 to 13.

3 hours/day individual tuition We provide intensive language training for people who want to make a significant improvement in speaking and understanding Italian but who don’t have a long period of time to devote to learning Italian or who require ‘tailor-made’ tuition. The classes are carefully designed for your current level of Italian, your individual interests and – on request – for your job requirements.

It is designed for those students who wish to intensify their Italian language learning. The course combines the Intensive course in the morning with the Individual course in the afternoon.

Classes are held everyday from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 10:30 am and from 11:00 to 12:30 am, 4 lessons of 45 minutes each a day, with one teacher. The courses begin every month and last 4 weeks - 80 lessons for 60 hours.

20 LESSONS / WEEK - 2 grammar group lessons/day and 2 conversation group lessons/day. Students will work on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking and listening.

25 LESSONS / WEEK - 2 grammar group lessons/day in the morning - 2 conversation group lessons/day in the morning - PLUS 5 lessons/week in the afternoon. In the Plus lessons students can deepen some aspect of Italian language, or just speak Italian with their teacher.

For students over 50 who want to study Italian and learn more about Italian and also, more specifically, the Ligurian culture, the ABC School offers programmes of 1 week or more. 20 ITALIAN LANGUAGE LESSONS/WEEK (2 grammar group lessons + 2 conversation group lessons a day) and a CULTURAL PROGRAM a week).

20 LESSONS / WEEK - 2 grammar group lessons/day and 2 conversation group lessons/day. The Standard Course represents the base of almost all the study courses.

Combined Course: Group Course + Individual Tuition The combined course consist of 20 lessons/wk in a group + 10 lessons/wk individual Recommended for those students who want to both learn general Italian and concentrate on certain more specific personal language needs. This programme is held three times a year, lasts 2 weeks and caters exclusively for people over 50. It's a mixture of language, art, culture and the pleasure of spending time together to share and improve one's knowledge of those aspects of Rome that make this city so unforgettable.

A course that allows one to learn Italian whilst going out to discover the unequalled artistic and archaeological patrimony that only a city like Rome can offer. Students are offered the opportunity to improve their Italian whilst on a theoretical and practical journey through the history of Italian art.
