Intermediate Italian courses are for students who can speak Italian with confidence. This course is ideal for students who have the vocabulary and know the grammar needed to talk and read about a wide variety of subjects in Italian. It is for students who can describe experiences and events, explain their opinions, and talk about plans.
Italian language tuition in the morning combined with cooking courses, olive oil tasting, wine tastings and guided visits in the wine area surrounding Lucca.

It is designed for those students who wish to intensify their Italian language learning.
The course combines the Intensive course in the morning with the Individual course in the afternoon.
Classes are held everyday from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 10:30 am and from 11:00 to 12:30 am,
4 lessons of 45 minutes each a day, with one teacher.
The courses begin every month and last 4 weeks - 80 lessons for 60 hours.

- 2 grammar group lessons/day and 2 conversation group lessons/day.
Students will work on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking and listening.
For students over 50 who want to study Italian and learn more about Italian and Florentine culture, the ABC School offers 1 or 2 week-programs.

In the Plus lessons students can deepen some aspect of Italian language, or just speak Italian with their teacher.
For students over 50 who want to study Italian and learn more about Italian and also, more specifically, the Ligurian culture, the ABC School offers programmes of 1 week or more.

How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
