The Standard Course focuses on learning and actively using language structures – this way the instruction is very much practice oriented. But what does this actually mean? Your teacher will assign you an active role while studying German and will draw you and your fellow students directly into his interactive instruction.

Do you want to improve your German knowledge rapidly and reach as many teaching goals as possible in almost no time at all? In this case we would like to recommend you our Premium Course. It differs from our other course options – Standard and Intensive Course – in so far as with 28 lessons per week the Premium Course gives far more opportunities for considering personal requests and demands.

You want to decide individually both on topics and pace of the instruction? You want to reach a certain goal and you want to study German successfully? Then we recommend you to take several lessons of individual instruction in addition to your group course. Because regardless whether you have decided for a Standard, Intensive or Premium Course… only individual instruction can guarantee that your teacher is focusing on your specific needs and problems.

Unlike the Standard Course, the Intensive Course also provides enough time to work on current topics from politics, culture and science. Hence, the 4 language skills listening, reading, speaking and writing will not only be trained based on a textbook but the teachers also use supplementary, specially selected materials.

Course Description The concept of University Summer Courses was developed cooperatively between instructors from did deutsch-institut and lecturers from the International School of Management (ISM). The four-week courses offer students from around the world a great opportunity to develop an academic project in the area of culture and civilization under supervision of ISM university lecturers while at the same time improving their existing German language skills.

Our German course offers participants a unique opportunity to learn German intensively in just three weeks. We take pride in having qualified teachers who bring their extensive experience and expertise to make the learning process effective and engaging.

Crash courses on all examination sections We offer these courses for the telc B1, telc B2, telc C1 Hochschule and TestDaF examinations. Here you will practice: • An overview of all parts of the exam and get to know the evaluation criteria • Learning strategies and receive tips for mastering the exam in terms of time and content.

Examinations at the B1, B2, and C1 language levels take place at all four course locations at the end of each month. In addition, we offer up to six examination dates yearly at the A1 and A2 language levels and two at the C2 language level.

Our courses prepare participants to sit for the Goethe Institute’s German language exams at levels B2 and C1 and are offered in parallel with the German language courses at did deutsch-institut (Standard, Intensive, and Premium Courses). Exams are typically conducted sometime within the two weeks subsequent to the completion of the preparation courses.

This course is a specific preparation for the TestDaF examination which is a certification test for university applicants in order to proof the necessary language competence for studying in Germany. With the help of extensive exercises the course participants intensify and improve their linguistic knowledge and knowhow, they will become familiar with the examination features and learn strategies for successfully dealing with this particular type of testing.
