Our Intensive English programme available in London and Eastbourne is perfect for those students looking to see a big improvement in their language skills, as well as truly experience life in the UK. This course offers you interactive English tuition, which is complemented with monthly workshops that are based on what you want to learn.

The OHC English Conversation and Grammar Skills Program focuses on; Developing Speaking Skills, Improving Pronunciation, Building Conversational Skills and greatly improving your English Grammar.
This will help you express yourself confidently and effectively in spoken and written interaction, both socially and in more formal settings and global situations (limited location availability).
General English covers all skills and are well balanced between, speaking, reading, writing, listening, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. This course includes Communication Skills, which gives you the opportunity to practise your speaking and listening, which will build your confidence in English.

Your First Day
We give you a grammar test and short speaking test to find out your level, and place you in a suitable class. We also take you on a tour of the city centre.
The General English course is 15 hours per week every morning starting at 09:30 and finishing at 13:00 with a coffee break at 11:00.
We use different course books throughout the year from Pre-Intermediate to Advanced level.
Our General English Intensive course is a full-time course for students who would like to learn English in the morning and afternoon. Students on our General English Intensive course study every day in the morning, and on three afternoons every week, for a total of 22 hours of study per week.

Which course type is right for me?
Intensive Study: For adults who want to learn a language as quickly as possible for academic or professional reasons.
Test Preparation: For students who want to prepare for language proficiency tests.
Business: For business executives who want to study a language to be able to do business.
Junior: For children ages 8 to 12 and teenagers ages 13 to 18 who want to study a language in the summer.
How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
