General English courses include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students are classed according to the level achieved in the placement test on the first day ranging from complete beginner to higher advanced.

The General English 10 hour per week course places the emphasis on speaking and conversation skills with the aim to build the student's confidence in speaking English. Grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading and writing are also practiced as appropriate.

The IELTS preparation course is suitable if you intend to take IELTS exam to enter info an English speaking college or university. It aims to prepare you for the IELTS exam by improving all four of your language skill areas and helping you to develop well-rounded English.
IELTS courses are suitable for students who need IELTS to continue on to further or higher education in the UK and other English speaking countries. The reading, writing, listening and speaking components of IELTS are studied and practised.

Which course type is right for me?
Intensive Study: For adults who want to learn a language as quickly as possible for academic or professional reasons.
Test Preparation: For students who want to prepare for language proficiency tests.
Business: For business executives who want to study a language to be able to do business.
Junior: For children ages 8 to 12 and teenagers ages 13 to 18 who want to study a language in the summer.
How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
