ITINERARTE RLT STUDIUM’s main office is in the historic center of Venice. Our classrooms are perfectly located in the Dorsoduro art district, famous for the Dorsoduro Museum Mile which connects eight museums along a mile-long path – among them being the Accademia Galleries, the Palazzo Cini Museum and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. ITINERARTE Studium is close to the vaporetto stations of Zattere in the Giudecca Canal and Ca 'Rezzonico in the Grand Canal. It is a leisurely 20-minute walk between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, the two highlights of Venice. Just a few steps away are monuments and churches such as the Basilica della Salute, the church of San Sebastiano, the Scuola Grande di San Rocco and the Basilica of Frari: extraordinary places for Venetian history and art, where you can admire the masterpieces of painters like Bellini, Giorgione, Tintoretto, Tiziano and Veronese.
The building that houses our school is an ancient monastery offering bright conference rooms, a library and simple accommodations. The area around the school is a residential neighborhood where you can easily find many services: pharmacies, supermarkets, bakeries, gyms and excellent restaurants and cafes.
Other classrooms and laboratories are located in different places in Venice.
I had one on one lessons in Renaissance art history with Domenico, who was very knowledgeable and I learned so much more about the the maestros of Venetian art, in particular Bellini, Veronese and Tintoretto. The venues for each lesson were superb and very well selected to cover the major works for the period. In addition, Domenico was extremely knowledgeable of the architecture and history of the period. The experience was unforgettable for me, I now need to continue working on my language skills so I can become fluent in conversations.

The teachers spoke clear Italian slowly, and if we did not understand would say it in another way in Italian, only as a very last resort did they explain in English. I loved the material we covered. I would take the course again.

Now I can only recommend this course and the entire experience. It is really innovative, funny and you do improve your language skills. Teachers were all native speakers, patient and professional. The location of the school is simply perfect. About housing, I booked a room in an affiliated residence near the school. It was easy to rent it and the Itinerarte staff is very helpful.
