SET IDIOMAS is a language teaching and translation center founded in 1999 in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. Since 2002, our institution has had a special area dedicated to the teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) named “Learning Spanish”. More than 2,000 students of the most varied nationalities have studied with us.
At SET IDIOMAS, we offer a wide range of Spanish courses: small group courses (up to 6 students), one-on-one courses, combined courses, tailor-made courses, professional development courses for teachers, international exams preparation (DELE and CELU), and so on. All of our courses have been designed for the student to gain progressive proficiency in the communication skills of the Spanish language and its culture. That´s why our lessons are focused on dynamic classwork and guarantee personalized teacher dedication.
As a part of our school’s philosophy, we promote the ongoing training of our teaching staff, which -combined with our reputation as a prime Spanish school- results in the everyday experience of a quality service enjoyed by our students. Moreover, SET IDIOMAS is an Instituto Cervantes Accredited Center, being one of the three Spanish schools in Argentina bearing this quality seal. We are also members of the Argentine Association of Language Centers (SEA). Quality is a priority for us, and both these recognitions and our philosophy of continuous improvement are behind our emphasis on optimal academic standards, administration and facilities.
The school is a 5-minute walk from Córdoba´s downtown area, in a student area that provides the ideal setting for getting to know the city by walking . Our premises are located in a well-known College building, with large and comfortable facilities: the administration office, classrooms, the teachers’ room and the academic coordinator´s office, a fully equipped students' lounge with sofas, library and PC with Internet access, with free cofee, tea and the local herbal brew "mate", a wonderful terrace and a large “patio” or yard to share moments together.
The nationality and age mix at SET IDIOMAS varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 23. In the summer, the average age is 23.
The school is placed in Nueva Córdoba, a beautiful student neighborhood located 5 minutes away from the commercial and historical downtown area.
This part of the city is full of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops, and is very active during the day and night.
Some of Cordoba's most important museums, parks and attractions are located in this neighborhood. Students can get to Sarmiento Park, the Cathedral, the Jesuit Block and Patio Olmos shopping center in a matter of minutes.
I enjoyed the whole experience. Professor Francisco was great and whole staff was friendly and accommodating.

Sehr gute Verpflegung.
Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying Spanish in Córdoba. These homes are often between 5 - 20 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
