The inlingua method:
Qualified teaching staff uses the inlingua method for their communicative language training. The inlingua method is based on decades of experience and is improved continuously. All teachers have been trained to use the universal inlingua method. They build their course program on the basis of standardized teaching techniques and teaching material and tools developed for these courses and structured for internationally recognized proficiency levels.
Striking examples and hands-on language use are preferred over dull theory. Your knowledge is verified regularly to adapt training to individual needs.
The proven inlingua method uses a dynamic and practical approach to learning English . an approach that focuses on the functional aspects of the English language, not the dry, technical details. Rather than memorizing long lists of vocabulary words or reverting to word-for-word translation, you will gain skills in practical, real-world situations and be personally coached on accuracy, fluency, and pronunciation.
Our method encourages you to have fun and experiment with the use of English so that you can figure out its patterns for yourself and progress quickly in your proficiency. We also make sure that speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills are integrated into our technique so that you end up with a natural, organic feel for the language as a whole. Our teachers include all the subtle but critical nuances such as culture, etiquette, and appropriateness in every
lesson plan.

The location is great, there are a lot of thing to see closer because it’s in the town.
For the first day, if you didn’t look for more information other than the address, I think it’s kinds of difficult to find the school because it’s between building office on the third floor and they don’t really have visible warnings.
Otherwise, the school make midterm and final exams what’s more an oral presentation, it can be really a nervous moments but it’s a good way to learn, unfortunately..;)
otherwise, I spend my trip with an amazing homestay, they were very kinds and make me comfortable.
Finally, illingua is really a good school to learn and the price is really good.
However, if you want discover the real culture of Canada, for my part, I think Vancouver isn’t the best location owing to the fact that it’s multi-cultural. But all depends on you, if you really want improved you English skills you’ll do what you have to do.
Thank you Marianne!!! We are happy that you could improve your English and We loved to have you studying with us, Good luck on your next adventures!!!
I spent three weeks in Vancouver studying at inlingua and it was the most exciting experience of my life, I can tell you for sure! There’s a perfect opportunity to learn English and you feel very comfortable here: there are lots of students from all over the world, lessons are interesting and you can also choose afternoon classes which are necessary exactly for you. Vancouver is a very nice and friendly city so it’s a great pleasure to live there. I lived in a homestay with another four students and they’re all from different countries – you just have no way out and speak, speak, speak English! Moreover, you can learn something from other languages. It’s absolutely impossible to stay apart from different events here; you can meet lots of people and make friends improving your language skills at the same time – brilliant, isn’t it?
