The learning goes beyond language. Through language, we teach a lot about cultures, life-skills and much more. Very interactive where students are put first.
All our teachers are qualified and certified to teach children and teenagers. They all hold Bachelor's of Education from reputable Canadian Universities and they all have teaching experiences in Canadian public and private schools. All of them either have TESL, CELTA certifications or experience in teaching English as a Second Language around the world.
The nationality and age mix at Eli Camps varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 14. In the summer, the average age is 14.
ELI teaches students from all over the world, including:
A great location, steps away from world famous Royal Ontario Museum, Ontario Parliament and much more. Minutes walk from Museum or Bay subway station makes is extremely accessible for students.
Activities were a little bit challenging for me, but it was great
It would have been better if there was more of my age group
I could meet a lot of friends there. Daily program were fun, and I really enjoy to be there and wish to join again.
3 weeks past so fast, and I had no problem through my stay at Eli Camps and it’s accommodation. Loved school and Toronto so much.
This experience was not only a linguistic but also a personal growth.
The teachers and the staff supported the participants in every difficulty and tried to meet their wishes.
Each activity and places visited were well organized and efficiently guided
it is an experience that I would do again and suggest.
Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Toronto. These homes are often between 15 - 45 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 9 - 18. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about student residence accommodation
