Classes in all Standard Italian Language Courses are held from 9.00am to 1.00pm, Mondays to Fridays. The first three hours of the italian language course are principally dedicated to grammar and syntax skills while the last hour is dedicated primarily to conversation and commincation skills.
Each 4-hour morning session includes two short breaks totalling 20 minutes. Included in the Standard Language Course are two weekly afternoon activities: a guided tour of Verona with an Art History professor focusing on different aspects of the city's art, architecture and history each week and the screening of an Italian film at the school. On the first day of our school LINGUA IT all students (beginners excluded) sit a short test to ascertain which italian course level is most appropriate for them to join. Students also take a test at the completion of each language course level to evaluate their progress and determine whether they are ready to move on to the next level . There are six standard italian language course levels.
The maximum number of students in any class is ten while a minimum requirement of 2 pupils is needed to activate the course.

Staff at Lingua IT are very kind and helpful. Groups are heterogenous in terms of age and background. This makes the learning experience very rich. My teacher, Paula, was excellent and provided opportunities to speak, write, read and listen, which
improved our use of grammar and vocabulary. School is centrally located. I missed a coffee machine inside the school building but we could go to get coffee round the corner. School organises nice cultural activities to do after classes. Enrico, in charge of the art history visits is wonderful at explaining and sharing his passion for art history. Andrea, at the kitchen, is excellent at teaching how to cook some of the iconic Italian dishes. I liked to stay with the family as I was able to interact with them. Overall, I had an excellent experience, a truly immersion language experience.
Everything was great: the teachers were professional, very kind, always in good spirit. The school is ideally located, the classrooms are well equipped and pleasant, student groups are small, activities in the afternoon are fun and / or cultural. It is impossible to find something that went wrong while I was studying with this school.

Also I learned with some great persons in the class. We were about 6 students. A great group (I miss them) The teachers were also very organized, friendly and had a lot of patience with us.
The staying at Nicoletta was fine, I really enjoyed it that we had our own space. It felt like it was our home (I was there with a friend of mine) I will come again for sure and for more than just one week. It was one of my best experience!!! Thank you so much!
Everything was perfect, everybody was nice and heartful. I enjoyed it to stay in this perfect location in verona. The lesson was hard but good :) Welcome drink at the first day was very nice! Thank you to everyone and hopefully see you soon

The classrooms are nice, fitted for the size of classes, i.e. the number of students. teachers are as always very good, friendly and forthcoming. The location in the city center is perfect, nothing more to say. activities are well dosed for those, who like to do more as well as for others who prefer to have a rather leisurely time.
Accommodation was the best I ever had anywhere, anytime, and I have traveled a lot. You learn not only in the school, but also at home, perfect. There is nothing to say about things i would not like, Verona is a very clean city and the Veronese are doing everything to keep the city clean.
Thank you.
For me it was perfect. Classes very small, teachers fantastic, location perfect, activities very interesting with our very knowledgeable guide/teacher Enrico who not only made things interesting but also a lot of fun. I cannot comment on housing as I arranged my own (I opted for a hotel). All teachers at the school were so friendly and enthusiastic. I particularly liked the way in which each student on finishing their course was presented with a certificate at a delightful lighthearted ceremony. Fellow students from all around the world all seemed to blend perfectly. But with all things in life you get out of it what you put in!! I recommend Caffe Borsari for coffee mid morning. Best coffee in Verona. Another suggestion for the afternoon is a Prosecco in Piazza Erbe!!
