I loved my accommodation with the host familiy (Juan Felipe). Even though they lived a little remote from the school (30 minutes by public transport), getting to the school by bus and metro was very easy and made me feel at home in Medellin. The school was good. I initially was put into a class that was too easy for me but could change after the first day. The teacher was good but sometimes lacked a clear and structured explanation. The school's facilities were good. Th estaff was lovely, they offered some interesting activities (loved the afternoon tasting tropical fruit) and organised a special cultural activity for the Colombian independence day.

The lessons are well structured and the teachers are doing a really great job. All people around the school are very friendly. The school is located in a quiet spot in El Poblado. There are daily afternoon activities to learn about Medellin or the colombian cuisine, which is pretty nice as well. The private lessons in the afternoon helped a lot.

There was a good mix of ages and nationalities. I had a positive experience with the Homestay which was arranged through the school.
I don’t know the numbers but I suspect that the Homestay families are paid a lot less than the fees the students pay to the school for the Homestay. In my opinion, the school should not keep more than 25% of what students pay the school to arrange the Homestay. Also, if the teachers were paid more, it would attract a more qualified and motivated staff.
I thought the school did a good job of matching students by their levels of proficiency. Also, smaller classes would be good. The finest two weeks with Israel were perfect with four students. The second two weeks with Anna had 6-7 students which wasn’t nearly as positive.
I would consider further study at the school. Thank you very much.
t was a very nice time at school. The entire staff was very nice, the teachers were friendly, competent and patient. I particularly liked the small classes (we were 3 students) and the family atmosphere. The location of the school is very good, in a quiet and safe area.
The afternoon activities were varied, but I can't rate them because I still had classes and couldn't attend.
The only thing that I think can be improved is the provision of a book with various rules and explanations.
The classes were okay but the outside activities and the facilities were great!

The teachers were all amazing - great instruction, super patient, and everyone was very nice. There was an atmosphere of mutual respect and a partnership in learning. I wish I could have stayed longer and would love to come back again!
My home stay was amazing. I loved the couple I stayed with and hope to stay in contact with them. They were very kind and helpful, and gave me a very comfortable stay.
Small classes, enthusiastic teachers, instructional modules and teaching materials (handouts, videos) clear.
Pleasant facility in a great neighborhood.
Afternoon outings pleasant, and added to the learning experience
Very good 2 week experience in school.
The school is located in a quiet area of Medellin.
Very good reception, the teacher was listening, the program was well adapted to my level, the themes of the courses were varied and interesting. I really think I’ve come a long way in a very short period of time.
The only thing that I think can be improved is the provision of a book with various rules and explanations, because there was no support.
I took an intensive Spanish Course, our teacher adjusted very well to my beginners level. In the end we did even do 2 weeks in one. I learned a lot of grammar and vocabulary. Also evening activities are for free andfun. I would def advise you to book a Spanish course here.
