I have found this school both highly professional and caring for its students. The classes were normally done in smaller groups, not with more that ten students at ones, and often fewer. Our teacher had a good teaching style, spoke almost only in Italian, but was extremely good at explaining the words we did not understand in a different way. Our class had to switch classroom sometimes, but in general the facilities are also good. The school is located really central in Genova, and for me it was perfect, just five-ten minutes from my home.

The school is in the city centre, easy to find, nice building. I enjoyed my classes, especially the first two days. We got a lot of attention and also a book and a bag and a folder it was a good starter's pack.
The other thing I liked was that I had my classes in the morning until lunchtime so after that I had the whole day free to go and explore the city. I bought a week long bus pass so could jump on a bus and go anywhere or walk to the water side.
I did improve my Italian and I will absolutely come back to this school next time I go to Genoa.
I am enthusiastic about the school; small classes ( 4 to 7 participants ) the very good qualities of our teacher, Mrs. Carerina Re, the good preparation for the lessons, the beautiful building and also the class rooms, the friendliness of the teacher and staff and, naturellement, of the city of Genoa and its friendly people!
I would advise others to select the courses hors saison, as I did, the teacher told me, that the courses in summer are always full up, will say 10 students in every classroom and not 4 to six as in March.
The learning conditions could not have been better; there was one teacher for two students, which meant that our speaking time was maximized. I did appreciate the patience and competence of our young teachers.
With regard to the social activities on offer, the visit to a 'pasticceria' was totally uninteresting (visiting the workshop where the chocolates and sweets are actually made would have been more instructive). On the other hand, I did enjoy the wine and cheese tasting.
All the best to the whole staff.
I liked the environment of the school. Everybody was very helpful and supportive. I like the fact that they provided different activities to do after the lessons, which help students to integrate with each other. The only downside was that I share the flat with Spanish speaking people. I would like to have shared it with someone who I had to speak Italian with. However, my flatmates were really nice. The accommodation was basic. It didn't have a living room or TV to hang out with the rest of the people in the flat. The flat was well located and I liked the area very much. It was not far from the school if you use the bus. The bus stop was close. The school was very central. It was a bit confusing to get there the first day, but it was very well located and close to all amenities. Good experience!
