The young and dynamic teachers gave lessons in a very fun way. The pleasant atmosphere makes learning easier and encourages you to speak in another language. I would go back to this school without hesitation, truly fantastic!

Having a hearing problem I appreciated the skillful all the staff used the whiteboard. Situation was great as we could stretch our legs between classes by walking down to the beach. I did have moments of frustration but I could always talk about it with the staff. I loved the way they said. ‘That’s normal Judith ‘ I would have loved to have stayed longer. My only real problem was my hearing - traffic ,airconditioner and poor acuistics I some of the rooms. Not a problem for most.

Thank you for accepting me as a student of Spanish courses at your school.
During my visit to your school, I learned a lot in Spanish and general culture, not only from Spain, but also and especially from others countries of the world.
We had a great time with the whole team from El Aula Azul to San Sebastian.
Indeed, the course went well. I understood the importance of the Spanish language. The teacher was at the height of teaching. She had put all the tools into action to make us understand. My Spanish skills have really improved a lot. Why I stopped the first series of 20 sessions for internalized and mastered perfectly before starting the remaining 20 others sessions.
I have also understood the methodology of the school and I think I will come back to you soon (between October and November) to continue my Spanish language studies with you.
El Aula Azul gave me the tone and the taste of learning to know the way of doing in spagnol and in the countries where the Spanish is spoken.
Well to you
Blaise MAVUNGU
The class was something different because I was with adults. Change teacher every part was the good idea but every day the both teacher repeated us some similar things. It was effective. We went outside one time, I think talk with local people is a good thing, it's better. It's easy to access in San Sebastian.

Teachers were very professional and classes were interesting and vivid. As I traveled and studied alone, I also appreciate all the extra activities school provided. I participated intercambio and pincho pote and enjoyed both very much.
I received accommodation through the school and it was very nice, too. The location was excellent, in the city center and the house itself was impressive. My room was very nice. My hostess Amaia was lovely.
I enjoyed my week very much and dreaming about coming back.
It was suitable for my level.
The teacher is wonderful.
Because hearing is not good, there were also difficult parts.
It is better to have extracurricular activities than I expected.
housing is very nice.
Host families are very kind. Very close to the school and the beach.
- Classes were excelent.
- Teachers were really professional.
- Location was ideal.
- Facilties were totally OK.
- Housing was good, but not for me. To come to the apartment I had to overcome more than fifty very high steps. The school administration had recieved information about my age (71) already in February and, J suppose they had time enough to find an apartment which suited me more. It was really difficult for me to come up to my apartment.
And some words about another problem J had. J am a teacher of foreign languages myself and could learn Spanish myself. So my grammar and vocabulary were not so bad, but J had not had any practice in talking and listening. But I came into a group of students with really higher level, even in grammar and vocabulary. So during the first week J did not develop my knowledge of Spanish especially much. Next week the students from the group went home and it was another group for me, which was equivalent to my level. My Spanish at last began develop.
J suppose that if there are no other students with the same level, the administration can suggest the applicant one hour a day (individual teaching). It would give more use.
- Good teachers
- Warm and open atmosphere in the school
- Valuable content of the Spanish course
- Language exchange night arranged by Aula Azul was nice
- The school is nicely situated
- Overall very good experience, despite a straggly start
- Communication and cooperation between Aula Azul and Language Exchange could be improved with regards to synchronizing information on websites and being updated about year schedule and holidays. Additionally the communication towards the students could be improved both from Aula Azul & Language Exchange
I had the pleasure to meet Arantxa and Idoia, both has incredible different ways to teach. I'd like to have at least three months with them, however I was just traveling abroad could have only one week, however I felt my Spanish is far better now, I don't have the same basic problems that I used to have. I'd like to send some chocolates to them.
Thank you El Aula Azul for those amazing experience!
I found that the lessons provided a very good mix of the different linguistic skills, but when I compare my Spanish ability on the first day to my final day there was a massive improvement, despite the fact I was only there for a week. The school provided plenty of extra activities alongside classes. However for me the main seller was always going to be the beautiful town of San Sebastian with its amazing beaches and incredibly friendly people. I would definitely recommend El Aula Azul as a place to improve your language abilities - do not let the incredible price put you off, it will definitely not make you wish you had spent more!

The housing worked very fine as well.
I only have positive things to write about El Aula Azul - the speedy and friendly reply to my first email, the warm welcome at the school, the intimate teaching groups, the camaraderie between students, the quality of teaching and the affability of the team.
I greatly recommend this school!
El Aula Azul provided not only the highest quality lessons I have ever had, but also the best service.
All the teachers went out of their way to find out my interests to make the classes as interesting as possible for me while also challenging my Spanish.
Unlike larger schools, you truly get an experience to remember and Spanish that you will never forget.
I did my first Spanish course in 2011 and then returned on various occasions. The teachers are excellent, well-prepared, and able to assist with every inquiry you may have. I have learnt a lot during my intensive courses and also in my individual classes. In addition, the school organizes activities where you can meet other students and locals, and practice your Spanish. The city can offer something for everyone, whether you want to chat, see a movie, surf, or much more. My overall experience with the school and the teachers was excellent.

The teachers at the school were really great; they were so enthusiastic about teaching us to learn to speak Spanish and they tried their hardest to make the lessons as fun and interactive as possible. The classes were also great because they kept them to small sizes and people of the same ability level. The location was perfect, right in the centre of the city and also so close to the beach. The accommodation that was provided for me through the school was amazing - a room in a beautiful flat owned by a lovely local lady, very close to the school and everything else the city had to offer. San Sebastian itself was such a wonderful place, and my time at this school made my stay in San Sebastian all the better. I continue to enjoy learning Spanish with one of the great teachers I had at the school even now I am home, with their great Skype lessons.
