ALC has been teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language for more than 33 years. We are the only language school in Dubai to teach Arabic from Beginners through to A-levels. We use a simplified and logical approach, exclusively developed by the founder, Maliha Wehbe, to make the learning experience easy, effective and fun. Our classes are communicative, student-oriented and highly interactive, and we limit the class sizes to 12 students. While we teach all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing), emphasis is on getting students to SPEAK. For students with prior knowledge of Arabic, an assessment is arranged prior to the class start date.
Please check the Courses tab for a list of the public classes we offer every term. We also offer private classes, which can be scheduled as per the student's demand and teacher's availability. The cost for one private hour is AED 240 and AED 7,200 for a complete course of 30 hours. For more details please visit our website www.arabiclanguagecentre.com.
The Arabic Language Centre is conveniently located in the Dubai World Trade Centre -- a crossroad between new and old Dubai. On one side we have the city's new skyline of hotels, freehold properties, business districts, shopping malls and entertainment resorts, and to the other side are the souqs, landscaped parks and retail and residential districts. DWTC is also close to Dubai's historic creek, wildlife bird sanctuary, zoo, museum, heritage sites, beaches, championship golf courses, and marina.
Located in the Sheikh Rashid Tower, ALC is minutes away from the outlets, restaurants and cafes of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Furthermore, ALC is just a few minutes walk from Dubai World Trade Centre Metro Station. To reach ALC, follow the signs to Sheikh Rashid Tower, then take the lift to Level 4. If you are coming by car from Sheikh Zayed Road - Abu Dhabi to Dubai direction - take the first right at the Trade Centre roundabout then turn right to the drop-off zone.
Information on car parks is available on our website www.arabiclanguagecentre.
Note: Dates of religious holidays (above) are subject to change.
The nationality and age mix at Arabic Language Centre varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 30. In the summer, the average age is 25.

The classes are very good, the only drawback for me is that the explanations are in English and I don't know almost any English. The teacher is excellent. The location of the institute is fantastic, as are the facilities. I only attended 4 classes in person and did not participate in any activity. I got the accommodation on my own. I highly recommend the institute, but whoever wants to attend the classes, keep in mind that you must have a good level of English. Perhaps a suggestion could be to make students speak more, repeating and repeating in learning a foreign language is not a problem (quite the contrary), especially in the early stages.

I will definitely come back and take more classes with her.
I have also recommended the school to a colleage who will be working in Dubai soon.
I would definitely booked a longer stay at the school but i was only in Dubai for a week so i could not extend the classes.
I enjoyed the course a lot. I think I was lucky to have a teacher who made the course interesting and enjoyable.
The course was very intense and I missed two days of it which made it very hard to get up to speed. In general it is a course where you have to study at home as well otherwise you won`t be able to stay on the same level as others.
We were 14 students which is too much in my opinion. There was not even enough space for so many.
But I loved it and am going to continue
I only good comments about my experience at Arabic Language Center. The school is fabulous in all sense.
Great location, the facilities are very nice and clean, Miss April at the reception was always kind and helpful as well as the rest of the staff. My dear teacher Miss Rana, she is simply the best! I'm looking forward to take the next course with her at the Center.
Overall, amazing experience. Thank you Language International for your recommendation. I'm very happy to have lived this experience.
Firstly I am very grateful to Language Internatıonal for their perfect assistance and helping me in find the right school for me to learn the Arabic Language.
About the School:
The location of school was very good. I could even walk to my hotel (Warwick) after lessons. We were around 10-13 people in class. The rooms were clear and comfortable. Our teacher, Ms. Lina, explained lessons in a clear and humorous style. I was not bored during lessons, as well as all the prescribed lessons sent on mail way after the lessons as well. I had limited time (3 weeks only) but what I learned during that time was very satisfying for me.
Next year I am planning to continue to the next level with the same school. Good luck to everybody.

Ask a questionWe are offering a Ramadan term, which is a 4-week course, with the timings mentioned on your site: 9-11 a.m., 12-2:00 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.
Our levels are interrelated, so once a student completes Beginners I, they move to Beginners II. The group classes running are those in July, as displayed on your webpage, and one term in August, which is only Beginners I. Other than these, it would have to be private classes.
