Iberlínguas was born on August 2011, on a beautiful sunny afternoon, in Marquês of Pombal, right in the heart of Lisbon. We teach Portuguese for Foreigners. We like our students to feel at home and so we try to make each day a special day.
Over the years, we created a strong, determined and professional team. We have been forming students and making our home into a large family that, little by little, is spreading throughout the world. We strive to be better and bigger every day, but never forgetting to look at each student as a unique being and with particular needs. It is with great pride that we hear the students' first sentences. When we can talk to them about trivial or serious issues, we feel that what we do is not a job, but a passion. We always say goodbye with a hug and somehow, they never go away. They will forever be part of us. And that's what sets us apart: being the great Iberlínguas family.
The nationality and age mix at Iberlínguas varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 30. In the summer, the average age is 30.
Iberlínguas Language School is located in the heart of tin Lisbon at the very centre of the city, Marquês de Pombal. It is close to the Avenida da Liberdade, Eduardo VII Park and down town. The school's excellent location means you are never more than a short walk away from all the major attractions in Lisbon.
The classes were very good, the teacher was excellent. The location was great too, very easy to get to. Overall I think it is a very good school to learn Portuguese, the faculty was super kind and helpful. Would recommend for sure!

But in the end it was great to socialize and to discuss easily.
We finished the programm several days before the exam, meaning that we had more time ton practice between us.
I highly recommend this school.
The location of the school was in the center of Lisbon and the support from Quenia and our teacher Filipa was open, friendly and much more than just dry "material transfer". We also received interesting answers to every question about the country and its people, history, fado etc. and the lessons themselves were tight, professional and covered a lot of material.

The school reacted very understanding to it and gave some private lessons in return of the missed classes. The class was small and in perfect harmony. Unfortunately a follow-up is not not possible to combine with my work. But when I can the course will be continued.

I had 3 weeks of intensive Portuguese classes at the school Iberlinguas. I was lucky to have a small group (3 persons), which was ideal to learn Portuguese. Our teacher was great. Everyone at the school is very kind and efficient.
Show details » Read more...The walk from my location to the school was relatively short, and the facility was fine. The rooms we used were comfortable and the teachers were excellent, being both patient, and at the same time providing prompting to keep trying. Outside of the class, since I was only there for one week, i didn't know of nor participate in any activities. I liked the comfort, and the support of the group in which I participated and the teacher's knowledge. At times I was frustrated by my inability to learn as quickly as I had hoped, but this proved a positive because it made me work harder.
