Whether you're learning German for university or your career, our intensive course combines lessons, practice, and self-study, supported by expert teachers in Düsseldorf and Berlin.
This course readies you for university admission or professional life in Germany, allowing you to link multiple courses for tailored learning. It covers all levels from A1 to C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, including beginner (A0) programs.
Our training sharpens your listening, reading, grammar, speaking, and writing skills, aligning with the criteria of recognized German language exams like TestDaF, DSH, and telc, available at our center. You’ll join a diverse group of international students, enhancing language skills and cultural understanding.

IIK Deutschland is a further education institute with a focus on language. German as a foreign language, job-related German courses, e.g. for doctors and nurses, integration and professional language courses (in accordance with Section 45a of the Residence Act) and further education courses are at the heart of our work. Language connects and we also put this into practice in further training courses for German teachers and trainers in adult education. We also cooperate closely with companies and organizations in Germany and abroad.

Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying German in Düsseldorf. These homes are often between 2 - 60 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. You must check out 1 day after your classes end (usually a Saturday). We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 80 € when you register.
