Although we have grown in size, our philosophy has stayed the same.

Warm welcome, Good location, Nice class but the level of the course was not appropriate

Show details » Read more...I stayed in Toronto for a week. The first reason to choose the OHC is its location. It’s near the Sol school where my students attending the summer school. Secondly I have attended the school four years ago when I visited Toronto. As a result I am rather satisfied with the class Especially I was touched with one teacher’s enthusiasm on teaching, who gave me comments on the internet. One class is consisted of 50-minutes lesson and10-minutes break. I think one class has much longer than that.
Thanks anyway I could learn than I expected.
Dear Student,
Thank you so much for your review, we are very pleased that you learned a lot at OHC.
Hope to see you again
I liked so much all the things, the classes were very funny and the teachers were so cute and lovely. But in the last week I didn't like the teacher that it vas teaching me, because she was a little on edge and she didn't respect where we were from, but on the second day the director changed her for someone better. But for the rest it was perfect and next year I am going to repeat.

What I liked the most were the trips. It was usually fun and entertaining. The school and my teachers were very good and friendly so I liked the school.

Giovanni was there only for the day and he says that he liked the teachers, location and the activities, but he hoped to learn a little bit more English. He said that especially during the evening activities, the teachers spoke very little with the kids and even if he enjoyed being with the other children, they weren't able to speak in English and nobody was teaching them the words.
The last I want to tell you Sarah was that the information you gave me about the place were we have to go the first day of school was wrong.
The facilities should be improved; few bathrooms, small rooms, some overcrowded. Nevertheless, my teacher was superb.

They are close to the students. But I have only one thing I'm not satisfied with. We can't choose a lot of elective classes. There are not so many elective classes. It's especially period F. I wanted to choose more classes in period F, but I'm almost satisfied with this school!
Show details » Read more...I have improved the level of my English at Sol School. The most thing I like is that there are a lot of great teachers. Whenever I need some help, they give some advice and try to help me as possible as they can.
The second thing is that I met a bunch of good friends there. As they have many sorts of activities, we can be closer easily.
I had so much fun there.
Classes, teachers, location and facilities are good, but I did not like the time schedule. First time is very early.
Show details » Read more...Each class consists of 8~13 students. Teachers are kind and passionate. When I asked them about a question I had, they answered very kindly whenever. Location is at Jarvis and Maitland. So it is very convenient to access.
Facility is like a real school because it is located in the old but fancy house. Activities are recommended because an activity manager always prepares thoroughly.
I'm really having a great time at Sol School Toronto. I have been improving my English in a good way. Teachers are awesome and they help us all the time as well as give us tips to live up this experience. There are a lot of activities that are interesting and funny to do. A pleasant atmosphere at Sol School makes us feel like a big family. Unfortunately, my time here is ending and I will miss everyone.
Thank you Sol School for this wonderful and productive experience!
Teachers were really nice. They helped me a lot to improve my English skills.
Show details » Read more...There are many gooooooood teachers.
And I really like the familiar atmosphere.
I want to recommend it to my friend.
But it wasn't good that teachers changed many times.
I wasn't adapted to that class because the class changed many times.
Sol School is like a family. I had a lot of fun there. There are many social activities that help you to meet people. However, the teaching quality is not high enough, the lessons are too slow and there isn't enough grammar. The teachers are great but I think that the method is not correct. There is enough time for fun in the evening, so the lessons should be stricter.
About the student house: rooms are nice, big and quiet and my flat mates were kind. However, the beds are awful. They make a lot of noise and are really uncomfortable. The location is excellent.
I would not recommend the school to someone who really needs to improve their English, but it is the best place if you want to have a nice experience in a different country, meet people from other cultures and practice your speaking.
