My experience at Babel Academy was very positive in all aspects.
I really appreciated the teaching method, all the teachers are extremely professional, the lessons are dynamic and fun.
The activities that take place in class vary greatly, from conversation, to grammar, to speaking, to listening, to exchanging ideas between classmates.
The accommodation is beautiful, modern, clean, equipped with all comforts for the student, close to the centre.
This is a great school with very serious and responsible teachers. The students are very enthusiastic. The students come from different countries, we don't speak a lot of English, when we go to restaurants, we can say come on chicken. I feel endless joy when I am with you all. The location of the school is also very good. Located in the city center, you can feel the ancient cultural history of Europe when you walk on the street. Living in a host family, you can continue to practice English after class in the evening, and your English progresses very quickly. I like this school very much.

O
Great teachers. Puts a lot of energy and effort into making the lessons interesting and understandable. Organizes learning in teams and is able to allocate time for everyone individually. Conditions at school and residence are good. It only takes 30 minutes to walk along the beautiful river from the place of residence to the school.

Show details » Read more...I really enjoyed the education system in Babel Academy , the teachers are very flexible and warm you can easily discuss many subjects with them without being judged (I had Pia as a teacher). The school location is also in the city center.
The lessons are various and very interactive with different subject every week which is very good.
The only negative point would be about the classes which are very small and sometimes the heater wasn't on so it was really cold otherwise everything was perfect.
The Babel academy is in the centre of Dublin. It’s the best place because the accessibility is easy. During my trip, I had the chance to visit both schools. I learned a lot about the country, because teachers was perfectly adapt to my level. I made friends with whom I’m still in touch. However, I stayed for only one week, it was short and I miss the city :( .

During 2 weeks I've lived the experience to be part of Babel family. From the beginning the staff was incredible helpful and kind. This was my first time in Dublin, but they made me feel at home. Regarding to the classes, is the first time (in my life) that I could speak so much and my doubts are totally solved. My teacher gave me personalized attention and exercises oriented to my particular needs.
The icing on the cake were the additional events, because I could learned english in a relaxing enviroment with tons of fun. Besides, the location is great, just in the middle of everything in Dublin.
If you are planning to study abroad, I recommend 100% Babel Institut of English. Do I want come back? For sure!

Classes with Carlos were more slowly but he let us to speak a lot and it was like a real conversation so this was amazing. I could only suggest that this were interleaved with some exercises but instead of book exercises (as in fact he did) that sometimes are very slow, verbal exercises that obligate you to think quickly and create new grammar structures.
With Roisin classes were perfect. But I suggest again, instead of use books for filling out the blanks I think is better only verbal exercises. I missed to have my brain burning, to think very fast and effectively, but maybe this is a very personal opinion because in Spain we "learnt" English with this kind of books and I never found them very useful...
Verbal exercices can be "speak for 1 minute about one theme" and look the fluently, grammar failures etc and then the other students can discuss about that theme etc
Another one could be practice a new grammar structure for example "I had done bla bla I had Thought this finally I preferd... or doing the same but in question. Why have you done that? Things like this seem to be easy but then are more difficult and practice it I mean is very useful.
And that's all! Thank you! ;)
I spent a good time at Babel Academy of English. The classes were well-organized and not too crowded, so I spoke a lot in order to improve my English. The teachers were very kind and always ready to give me some help! The school provided me with accommodation and I could not have had a better host family! Everything was perfect: from the lessons, the location of the school, to the afternoon activities we did all together!
