Students looking to improve their General English core skills can take a variety of English language course options with us. Whether you just want to improve your English or use English for working abroad or further study, our full time English courses are right for you.
• You will be able to learn faster by taking part in a group learning environment, which supports each learner’s diverse needs.
• With General English classes you can combine them with an intensive class to prepare for your exam and help you have a better chance of success.
• Your competence in Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening will improve. You will gain confidence communicating in day to day social exchanges.

The International School of English has been operating successfully since 1997. They are a dedicated Student Management team who pride themselves on making your experience memorable and worthwhile while achieving your personal student goals.
The experienced and qualified teachers ensure a friendly and professional language learning experience. Lessons are lively and communicative, helping students to progress and develop your English language skills. Students are given weekly progress tests to monitor progress, and tutorials every 6 weeks to assess development and offer suggestions on how to improve.

The nationality and age mix at The International School of English varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 25. In the summer, the average age is 20.

Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 18+. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Student residences often do not include any meal plan. We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 60 € when you register.
Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Waterford based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
