We offer a progressive 27 lesson or 20 hour course in general English designed to suit students of all levels, from pre-intermediate to advanced.
Our teachers are experienced with qualifications, and use the latest course books and techniques to make your learning experience both rewarding and enjoyable.
At each level we aim to improve all aspects of your English, including grammar, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and importantly to build confidence.

The Bright School is located in the centre of Bournemouth and accredited by the British Council. Learning English can help you find a better job in a globalised world. Or maybe you want to experience a new culture and further your studies. The Bright School is here to help.
When you arrive at our school you will be given a placement test, and receive an interview with either the school director or senior teacher to establish your level. We also provide an induction pack, with information on Bournemouth and a student card. We monitor your progress during your course and provide a certificate when you leave. The Bright School accepts students from the age of 16 and has no upper limit on age, the majority of our students are adults.
The Bright School is a friendly school, and you will feel welcome by all the team. Please also remember we are available to help 24 hours a day, and students can contact the school at any time.

I had a good experience in Bournemouth. Bright School was very nice. Ben pays special attention to his students and he is very friendly. The teachers were good and are competent in the classroom.
I had a problem in my first week with my host, but Ben helped me with this and was very friendly.
Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Bournemouth. These homes are often between 5 - 20 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from . Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.
If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 50 when you register.
