Hi,
at the beginning I felt homesick. But one of the supervisor calmed me down.
We had about 3 hours English in class, which was very good and we had enough breaks. My English skills improved very well.
The location Boxhill school was very beautiful, but to far from the city.
I met people from all over the world, which was very interessting.
The trips to London and to the Warwick castle was the best.
The housing was good. I just wished, that the food would be better.
I would love to come again.
Benny
Thank you so much for your review, Benny! We would love to welcome you back. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you are looking for a summer school this year. :-)
Thanks for wonderful summer camp, my son enjoyed every moment of it
Football sessions: very professional coaches, decent facilities, high level of training.
English lessons: nice and efficient methods of teaching English, my son really enjoyed the lessons, although there were many kids from my country and they naturally used their native languages all the time out of classes. The natural exposure to the language out of the classes did not click as I expected. Although I understand these camp if in great demand, and that’s why a lot of nations bring kids there. Thus, the language was not improved significantly.
Extra activities: I would rate 4 out of 5. Some extra activities were not appropriate for teenagers, for example, kids were brought to the shopping mall and given like 5 hours for shopping. I personally find it irrational and not the best way to spend their time.
Food: every good, children liked everything from the menu, which were diverse and of good quality.
Accommodation: my son was accommodated in a room with 3 other boys, a room is for 4 boys, toilets and showers on the floor shared by all the dwellers. Everything is clean and taken care of generously.
Other: kids were not given towels, as I know some of the kids did not bring towels with them, it will be great to give them toothbrushes and tooth paste too because it looked like a lot of kids did not have those with them.
Thank you very much for your review. We are so pleased your son enjoyed his time with us. This year we are implementing our 20% native language cap, as we have taken that kind of feedback on board. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you are looking for a summer school this year. :-)
