The Winter Camp is held over 7 weeks during our Australian summer in January/February. Students can attend as little as 1 week, or as many as 7 weeks, and can choose to start at anytime. The Camp is designed for young learners and teenagers who want to experience the Australian way of life, live with an Australian family, and improve their English language abilities. Parents are also able to attend with their children.
During July/August, we have a structured 10 week Summer Camp program, which has English classes Monday to Friday, with fully chaperoned after-school activities each day and on weekends.
We receive students from diverse countries such as Hong Kong, Russia, Japan, Brazil, New Caledonia, China, and various European countries. Students can join the whole period of the camp, or can come for just one week, for any week in the Camp.
It is also possible to arrive earlier and to stay longer, as we still offer the English language classes for young learners and teenagers throughout the year outside the specific Camp dates.
In addition to the weekly fee, there is a registration fee which covers airport transfers, homestay placement, registration etc. The fee for 2024 is AUD$750.

I also liked the staff.
The classes had too many Japanese students but I cannot blame the school for that.
The extra activities were good but could be better. For example: Sea world, paradise country.
My host family was wonderful.
Thank you for your comments, and my apologies for not replying sooner. April is the Japanese Spring holidays, so naturally there will be a predominance of students from japan, but we appreciate your understanding and acceptance of the situation. We are very proud of our homestay family network, and always appreciate comments such as yours.
Kind regards,
The school had two classes for children. Overall, I did a lot of talking but very little of grammar. There were also too many exits out of school for activities which were not strictly related to teaching English.
Show details » Read more...Thank you for the feedback. We are always conscious of the need to balance study with activity, especially for young students. When activity is part of the classroom lesson, we do try to structure it so that it contains a learning experience. Having said that, we cannot get it right all the time, and we are sorry if your experience with us was not totally satisfactory. I have passed your comments on to our Director of Studies so that we may be aware of them when structuring future curricula.
