Course description

Programme:

Montreal is a bilingual city where students have the opportunity to study either English or French.

· Lessons are taught by qualified English teachers.
· 20 x 45-minute lessons per week, every morning.
· Placement test on day 1 to ensure students are in a class of the appropriate level.
· Maximum 16 students per class.
· Students will be placed in international classes with others of mixed nationalities.
· Standard classrooms located in York University campus.
· Course material is included.
· Curriculum with emphasis on communication skills.

The programme includes several half-day trips and 1 full-day excursion every week, as well as on-site activities in between lessons. All activities are designed to continue the learning in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging students to develop life skills and make new friends through sport, activities and socially interactive games

Activities
Sports: With a choice of football, mini Olympics, volleyball and basketball.

Drama: Drama and performance activities, such as drama workshops and scavenger hunts.

Evening: Activities such as karaoke, a talent show, team games and Downtown by night tours.

Half-Day Trips
Our students get to explore exciting places in and around Toronto such as Ontario Science Center, Casa Loma, High Park, Royal Ontario Museum and Kensington Market.

Full-Day Excursions
Downtown Toronto: explore downtown Toronto and visit the CN Tower.
Toronto Island: explore the island and enjoy a nice picnic
Toronto Botanical Gardens: enjoy 17 beautiful gardens and lovely environment.

We offer additional optional activities/excursions in the centre as well.

Accommodation:
· Students stay in standard single or twin rooms in student residence Tatham Hall.
· Shared bathroom ratio of 1:5.
· All rooms are furnished with a wardrobe, desk and chair.
· Traditional Canadian college dormitory-style rooms and layout.
· Communal space on each dormitory floor.
· Bathrooms are cleaned daily.
· Bed linen is changed every week.
· Laundry is available in each residence building.
· Meals are served in a self-service dining hall.
· Wi-Fi throughout the campus and accommodation.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
