Koentact
If you’d like to learn Dutch in Amsterdam, our Dutch language courses will open doors for you, whether you are a complete beginner or are already experienced with the Dutch language. Living in a foreign country can be a challenge, but even knowing just a little of the local language will make your life so much easier! Along with other internationals and expats, our unique Koentact method allows you to totally immerse yourself in the Dutch language, culture, and life for five weeks.
1. Small classes & Field Trips
During the week you will spend your time studying Dutch in a small class, and on the second & fourth Saturday of your course, you can set down your books and put your Dutch into action during our Field Trips. These Field Trips focus on aspects of Dutch Culture, getting to know Amsterdam better, and – of course – using actual Dutch outside the classroom. See here how one of our teachers describes a field trip as her students experience it.
2. Free review classes (up to level A2)
Missed a class? Or would you like to ask questions about what you’ve learned so far? Then the review classes are the place to go! On the first and third Friday of the course, you can join this class for free to make sure you can catch up if you happen to miss a class, or if you’re having some trouble with the grammar that was introduced earlier that week.
3. Free coaching for the Civic Integration Examination
From Dutch Experience 3 (A2-) onwards, you can join our free civic integration workshops. We offer three workshops of 2 hours each. The workshops are consecutive, so taking all three will give you enough information to prepare yourself for het inburgeringsexamen.
4. Evaluation of your progress
Your progress will be evaluated during your course to determine if you are ready to move on to the next level. You will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of your Dutch course.
