does not hold classes on the holiday dates below. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.
The central location of the Instituto de Idiomas Ibiza allows our students to experience the Mediterranean life in Ibiza very closely and to start the day with an immersion in Spanish culture: the typical Spanish breakfast - café con leche with sweet pastry or the great tomato toast - in one of the many pleasant bars and cafés surrounding the school.
In the school, students attend their classes in intensive courses with native and experienced with the university under the guidance of the directors and founders of the school. The school is main language school on the island, yet of a small size, guaranteeing all students good learning progress as well as a uniquely pleasant and familiar atmosphere.
The bus station in order to get to the beaches of the island is right across the street. The neighboring hidden squares and small alleys of the historic part of the city - Dalt Vila - as well as the historic port host many of the Ibicencan restaurants. These offer the rich traditional cuisine on different price levels: from very cheap to very expensive. But always worth the money.
Also when not in class or during a walk through the city all students are welcome to stop by at
the Instituto and have a coffee and perhaps check their e-mail or meet other students and participate in the cultural activities or excursions which are usually free of charge.

Show details » Read more...The school program was very good, unfortunately it was not up to my standard. I started again at absolutely zero. We were only 3 students and progressed somewhat faster. In the second week came again beginners. Although the same program was offered the second week, but because I was the only one of the first week, I would have to repeat a lot of grammar and verbs again. The announced 2nd book in the second week was only based on my demand on the last day in the last hour.
The announced events took part only partly, some were canceled because of the season. The 50+ course consisted of 3 people, who had different levels. Unfortunately, we also had different accommodations so that you could also sit evenings alone without spending money.
The accommodation was 7 min walk from the school. The room was small and scarcely furnished. It reminded me more of a youth hostel. The window pointed to a dirty courtyard, but was relatively quiet. The bed was so low that I had problems every morning to get out of bed. The bathroom was tiny, a window opened straight into a dark bay. The fittings were rusted and moldy. The kitchen was a large room with a well equipped kitchen. The TV was unfortunately broken, a living room did not exist. The room was cleaned once.
The classes were really good. The teachers were fantastic. The location was okay.

The private lessons were really amazing, my teacher prepared my classes for the whole week with the things I need to know and I asked her for specifics specially for my job. Absolutely well prepared for my subject! I was very surprised how she prepared and helped me!
Show details » Read more...I really enjoyed these 2 weeks of studying. It was very fun and it helped me to progress in Spanish. Facilities are clean and comfortable. Location is more than perfect as it was two minutes from the bus station. Only one thing that I didn't like was when some of the teachers smelled like cigarettes while giving a class. I don't have anything against smokers; let them smoke if they want, but in a class, students shouldn't experience any annoying smells especially from the personnel.
Thanks and warm regards!
The teachers were great and all the staff were super helpful, friendly and encouraging. The location is fantastic and Ibiza is absolutely gorgeous. If you want to study Spanish, you couldn't ask for a better place than this beautiful island!

Today, I contacted an evening school about a course in Spanish. The course I did in Ibiza was a great motivator!
