Welcome to On Spain School in Málaga!
I really progressed during this week. The teachers are very good at explaining and I had a wonderful group. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. They arrange tours as well where some of the professors join. The school is located very central in Malaga which is also nice.
Show details » Read more...I only spent one week in Maestro Mio but it was very enjoyable as well as being good for my Spanish. The teachers made the classes interesting and encouraged us all to participate in class including even the more timid students. The subjects for discussion were engaging and the grammar classes were clear and very useful. The accommodation was satisfactory but as regards meals, I would have preferred some typical Spanish food and salads rather than Italian/ Chinese style. Otherwise the hosts were friendly and willing to engage in conversation which was nice.

I had the best possible teachers, spanish was spoken very clearly and the grammatic was explained so that you could understand the differences of the meanings. I was promised a course for seniors which did not happen but we could agree of the compensation. Thank you so much for the understanding and for choosing me the best level I was able to study. I did not attend any activities but there were a few of them. I was very pleased with the course, the teachers and the school and would choose it again. Thank you so much!

The classes were conducted in a very friendly way. The class material was very good and all four teachers were very good at explaining and engaging the students. There was plenty of time for each student to speak and practice during the classes. Grammar has always been the main difficulty for me but I found that two hours each day with good examples (explained in a friendly way) has helped me a lot. Overall, I would say that my Spanish improved a lot during my two weeks. I hope that I can come back later for another two weeks of similar classes.
The school location is very central and very easy to reach. I didn't take part in the social activities as I already had my own plans but I know that other students enjoyed the activities. The final class on my last day included a visit to the Malaga Museum, which I found to be very interesting. Andreas gave us a good explanation and background on all the exhibits.
